What are your operating hours?

Thursday to Sunday:
8am to 6pm
Public holidays:
8am to 6pm

Do I need to book in advance?

Booking is highly recommended, especially for activities like paintball, go-karting, quad biking, horseback riding, and group events. Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability.

Is there an entrance fee?

Yes, a general entry fee applies. Activity fees are charged separately. Packages for groups and events are available.

Are children allowed?

Absolutely. Redacres is family-friendly, and several activities — including pony rides, natural pools, picnic areas, and guided tours — are perfect for children.

What age groups can participate in activities?
  • Paintball: 16+

  • Go-Karting: Height/age restrictions may apply

  • Quad Biking: 16+ for full-size quads (kids’ quads available depending on availability)

  • Horseback Riding: All ages, with pony rides for young children
    Full safety guidelines are provided on-site.

Do you provide safety equipment?

Yes. All activities requiring safety gear — such as paintball masks, helmets, and harnesses — include equipment as part of the activity fee.

Are the natural pools safe for swimming?

Yes. The natural pools are regularly checked, and safe swim areas are clearly marked. Children must always be supervised by an adult.

Can we bring our own food?

Yes, you may bring your own food for picnics or braais in designated areas. Redacres also has the River Café, offering snacks, meals, and refreshments.

Do you host private events or birthday parties?

Yes. We cater to birthdays, team-building events, school outings, corporate groups, and private celebrations. Customisable packages are available.

Is alcohol allowed inside the park?

Alcohol is allowed only in designated areas and must be consumed responsibly. No alcohol is allowed near high-risk activity zones.

Is Redacres wheelchair or disability friendly?

Many areas of the park are accessible, including the café and selected viewing areas. Some rugged activity zones may be difficult to navigate without assistance.

What should I wear?

Comfortable outdoor clothing and closed shoes are recommended. For water or hiking activities, bring appropriate swimwear or hiking gear.

What happens if it rains?

Some activities may be delayed or paused due to weather conditions. Indoor or sheltered areas will remain open, and bookings can be rescheduled.
